Legendary Ghanaian footballer Asamoah Gyan has urged pastors to shorten church services, arguing that long services discourage people from attending.



In a recent Instagram live session, the former Black Stars captain suggested that a one-hour-and-thirty-minute service would be ideal, ensuring quality worship without making it tedious.



“Church services should be short with quality, not long, to encourage people to attend. If it can be done within one hour and thirty minutes, it will be fine. When it&#8217;s too long, it becomes boring. So, I&#8217;m pleading with all pastors to consider this concern. Even as I seem to be speaking for a long time, it&#8217;s becoming boring,” Gyan stated.



His remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with some agreeing that shorter services would be more engaging, while others believe longer services allow for deeper spiritual connection.
