Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, the Chief Executive Officer of the Crime Check Foundation, recently announced some heartwarming news about Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown. 



In a video, Mr. Kwarteng shared that McBrown has decided to celebrate her 47th birthday on August 15, 2024, in a truly impactful way—by funding the release of 47 prisoners.Mr. Kwarteng lauded McBrown’s generosity, highlighting that her decision to help these inmates is a remarkable and meaningful way to mark her special day.

He pointed out that acts of kindness like this not only provide much-needed support to those in prison but also offer them hope and encouragement, which are essential for their reintegration into society.



This gesture is not surprising given McBrown’s earlier expressions of support for Mr. Kwarteng’s charitable initiatives. Earlier this year, during his appearance on her show, ‘McBrown Kitchen,’ the actress was moved by the work he does through the Crime Check Foundation.
