Technology giant, Apple revealed that its latest mobile operating system, iOS 18, will be available to users starting September 16, 2024. 



The update will be compatible with a wide range of the Apple devices spanning several generations of iPhones. According to the release, iOS 18 will support models as recent as the iPhone 16 series and as far back as the iPhone XR and XS series.







While specific features like interactive widgets where users can perform action within their widget like replying messages, controlling smart home devices without opening the respective app.



Again, the new iOS 18 has an improved Health App which offers personalized health recommendations based on the user data. 



Additionally the new software allows users to move their home apps to any position on their devices. 



Also, software according to Apple boast of good performance and battery life, bug fixes and stability. were not detailed in this announcement, the update is expected to bring new functionalities and improvements to the user interface, as is typical with major iOS releases.







As the release date approaches, users are advised to back up their devices and ensure they have sufficient storage space for the update.
