Ghanaian musician Keche Andrew has publicly declared his unwavering support for his wife, Joana Gyan, who is running for parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central constituency under the National Democratic Congress (NDC).



In an interview on Cape Coast&#8217;s Property FM, Andrew asked critics, &#8220;If they had a wife with political ambitions, wouldn&#8217;t they support her?&#8221; He emphasised that supporting his wife is a natural extension of their mutual support for each other.



Andrew highlighted Joana&#8217;s philanthropic efforts, particularly her foundation&#8217;s sponsorship of 17 students&#8217; school fees at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).



&#8220;Someone who single-handedly takes care of students at GIMPA, even before contesting, will undoubtedly do better as an MP,&#8221; Andrew expressed, thanking God for his wife&#8217;s dedication.



Joana&#8217;s parliamentary bid marks her first foray into politics, and she&#8217;s already making history as the first woman to contend in the male-dominated Amenfi Central constituency.
