VFS Global has officially taken over the handling of UK visa applications in Ghana begining from October 22, 2024, replacing TLScontact.



 This change is aimed at improving the visa application experience for Ghanaian travelers.



According to the UK government, the transition to VFS Global will bring several enhancements, including shorter biometric and application submission times at visa application centers. 



Travelers can also expect a new average passport collection time of approximately 20 minutes, along with clearer information to help differentiate between free and paid services.



Importantly, the UK government has assured that these changes will not affect the visa process, immigration rules, or visa fees.



VFS Global&#8217;s office is located on the Mezzanine Floor of the Grand Oyeeman Building on South Liberation Link in Accra.



Mr. Alok Singhal, Head of Sub-Saharan Africa at VFS Global, expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership, stating, &#8220;We are excited to embark on this new journey with UK Visas and Immigration here in Ghana.
