 As 2025 begins, children born between 2025 and 2039 will officially belong to what is now being termed &#8220;Generation Beta.&#8221; 



This generation follows the earlier classification of Generation Alpha, which includes those born from 2010 to 2024. 



The term was coined by social researcher and futurist Mark McCrindle, who emphasizes the unique characteristics and challenges faced by this emerging generation.



According to McCrindle, Generation Beta will grow up in an age of remarkable technological integration, where artificial intelligence (AI) and automation will be seamlessly woven into daily life—from education and employment to healthcare and entertainment.



 He predicts that by 2035, Generation Beta will comprise approximately 16% of the global population, living in a world increasingly powered by AI.



&#8220;Generation Beta will experience a landscape shaped by unprecedented technological breakthroughs and evolving social norms,&#8221; McCrindle stated.



 He noted that this generation is expected to be more globally minded and community-oriented, largely due to the pressing challenges of climate change, population migration, and rapid urbanization.



McCrindle also pointed out that sustainable development will transition from being a preference to an expectation for Generation Beta.



 &#8220;They will grow up in a world where sustainability and citizenship are paramount,&#8221; he remarked, emphasizing the importance of understanding their values and preferences as they shape the future.



Furthermore, McCrindle anticipates that children born after 2025 may become the first generation to regularly utilize driverless transportation and augmented reality devices, marking a significant shift in how society operates.
