Ghanaian media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, has sparked a debate on social media over what she sees as a glaring double standard in relationships.



Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, Delay questioned why society accepts older, wealthy men dating younger women but considers it taboo when rich women date younger men.



“Why is it ok for rich men to be with younger women, but taboo for rich women to be with younger men?” she wrote.



As one of Ghana’s most successful media figures, Delay, who is in her 40s, often finds herself at the center of conversations about marriage and relationships. Last year, she was rumored to be dating young rapper Amerado, though she never confirmed the speculation.



Her latest remarks have reignited discussions on gender expectations in relationships, with many weighing in on whether society is too harsh on older women who date younger men.
